Bethesda Mission is in need of 5 lb. – 7 lb. hams, fresh produce and canned food to help provide a traditional Easter Dinner for the needy hungry men, women, and children on Easter Sunday. On Sunday, March 27, beginning at 4:30 p.m. and continuing until 5:30 p.m., an Easter Dinner will be offered to anyone who needs a meal or has nowhere else to go to celebrate this victorious day!
Chuck Wingate, executive director of the Mission states, “We are planning on serving approximately 150 needy hungry men, women and children. Any additional hams that are not used immediately will be frozen and will help to replenish our food needs for the coming months. Hams will be shared with some needy families as well.”
Those wishing to help us provide a hot, nutritious meal to those in need may bring their hams to Bethesda Mission, located at 611 Reily Street, Harrisburg at any time. For further information, please contact Ken Ross at 717-257-4442, ext. 223 during regular business hours.
