GHAR FOUNDATION HOSTS SCHOOL SUPPLIES DRIVE FOR LOCAL STUDENTS

The Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS® Foundation collaborated with Kick in for Kids, Inc. for their annual school supplies drive.

Volunteers from Kick in for Kids, along with Foundation President Kelly Spasic, Vice President Danielle Wadsworth, Secretary/Treasurer Keith Lipari, Past President Isabel Warrell and Foundation Board Members Danielle Wise and Chris Pirritano all worked to sort the collected school supplies on August 20, 2020.

REALTORS® and affiliate members from over 40 member offices made it their mission this summer to collect donations of backpacks, pencils, pens, paper, crayons, markers, scissors, binders, notebooks, and other school and craft supplies for local students.

The Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS® Foundation was able to contribute countless backpacks, loads of supplies and over 250 dollars in cash donations to Kick in for Kids’ efforts through their Mission fill the Box: School Supplies Drive.

GHAR member, Keith Lipari of RE/MAX 1st Advantage, chaired this year’s event and coordinated the 2020 partnership with Kick in for Kids.

Kick In For Kids works directly with the Cumberland Valley, Mechanicsburg, and East Pennsboro school districts to identify families-in-need to provide support with food, clothing and medical care, as well as rent and utility assistance.
