Geisinger Holy Spirit to host tobacco cessation support group
On: March 26, 2017 Filed Under: Member News
Geisinger Holy Spirit will host a free monthly tobacco cessation support group beginning Thurs., April 6.
These sessions are designed to promote and encourage a healthy tobacco-free lifestyle. Quitting smoking and use of other tobacco products reduces the risk of many health problems, including heart disease, cancer, and emphysema, and can greatly improve overall health and quality of life. Group support has been shown to improve outcomes for those who want to quit smoking or using other tobacco products.
The group will meet from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month in the first-floor conference room in the Geisinger Ortenzio Heart Center at Holy Spirit, 503 N. 21st St., Camp Hill. No registration is needed. For more information, please call 717-763-2775 or visit hsh.org.
