CAMP HILL – Stacey-Ann Okoth, MBA, MSN, associate vice president of nursing services at Geisinger Holy Spirit, has been selected as one of Central Penn Business Journal‘s “Forty Under 40.”
Okoth joined Geisinger Holy Spirit in May, and oversees operations and strategy for nursing services. She graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing, and holds both a master of business administration and a master of science in nursing. She is currently pursuing doctorate studies in psychology at Grand Canyon University.
Prior to joining Geisinger Holy Spirit, Okoth was the director of nursing operations at Gettysburg Hospital-WellSpan Health, and held leadership positions at York College of Pennsylvania, York Hospital, Hershey Medical Center, Kaiser Health and St. Joseph Health. Okoth has also served as president of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society, Eta Eta Chapter, and volunteered at St. Mary’s Clinic in Nairobi, Kenya.
“My greatest joy is being a part of a team that is tenacious at decreasing barriers to improve the care and outcome for our patients,” Okoth says. “My best days are when a member of my staff lets me know that I have inspired them to do something they thought they weren’t capable of.”
The “Forty Under 40” program celebrates the region’s most accomplished young business leaders who are committed to business growth, professional excellence and community service. Okoth will be recognized at the 2017 Forty Under 40 awards program on Oct. 2.
