June 9, 2016 (Harrisburg, Pa.) Gannett Fleming was honored for outstanding achievement in marketing communications by two international organizations. The prestigious awards recognize Gannett Fleming’s creative work in promoting the firm’s 100th anniversary.
From more than 6,000 entries, the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA) presented Gannett Fleming with “Awards of Distinction” in the 22nd Annual Communicator Awards. The winning entries are:

- 2015 holiday e-card card: “Happy Holidays from Gannett Fleming 2015!”
- Forces of Change: Anniversary Edition.
The holiday e-card also was recognized with a gold Hermes Creative Award from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). Sent to Gannett Fleming clients and teaming partners, the greeting highlights some of the “100 Acts of Kindness” that the firm’s employees shared during the company’s milestone year in 2015.
The client version of Gannett Fleming’s 100th anniversary history book focuses on some of the world-class infrastructure projects completed by the company in the last 100 years. Forces of Change, Gannett Fleming’s external-facing publication, spotlights the firm’s top projects of the past and present, as well as a timeline of the company’s unfolding history, in a special commemorative issue.
“Our 100th anniversary was a tremendous opportunity to highlight the excellent work that our engineers do and the many different ways our employees give back to their communities,” said Robert M. Scaer, PE, Gannett Fleming president and chief operating officer. “We are honored to receive these awards because they recognize what makes Gannett Fleming such a special place to work.
