Gannett Fleming Continues to Rise in ENR Annual Rankings

Gannett Fleming, an innovative global infrastructure and engineering firm, reached new heights in the coveted Engineering News-Record (ENR) annual rankings.

The firm jumped in numerous rankings, including several areas not ranked in 2018. The categories with the most significant increases include: four spots to 35 in Top 500 Design Firms; 15 spots to 29 in Sewerage and Waste; nine spots to 15 in Transmission and Distribution; and eight spots to 72 in Top 150 Global Design Firms. The categories in which Gannett Fleming did not rank in 2018 but appears in 2019 are: 19 in Chemical and Soil Remediation; 35 in Power; and 47 in Hazardous Waste.

When ENR released its 2019 Top 500 list, the industry-leading magazine spoke to Bob Scaer, Gannett Fleming chairman and CEO, about the firm’s recent acquisitions:

“Each acquisition brought new skills to the firm in geographies where we didn’t have a footprint…we are not growing for the sake of being bigger, but to broaden client services,” said Scaer in the cover story.
