Former Big Four Tax Attorney Joins McNees

McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC is pleased to announce Justin K. Abodalo, a transactional tax attorney, joins the firm’s Corporate & Tax Law Group.

Abodalo counsels clients on corporate tax planning and other transactional issues, including structuring mergers, acquisitions, tax-free or deferred exchanges, financing, entity formation and liquidations. Over the course of his career, including previous work with two Big Four CPA firms, he has collaborated with and worked alongside some of the industry’s leading experts and scholars.

“Justin’s extensive background will provide a unique perspective as we continue to guide our clients through complex transactions,” Tim Finnerty, co-chair of the Corporate & Tax Law Group, said. “His addition is a valuable one to our clients and colleagues and we are grateful to have him on our team.”

The sophisticated deals McNees’ team of legal professionals facilitates for clients is complimented by both Abodalo’s business, transactional and taxation experience as well as his approach — analyzing circumstances wholistically and transforming tax issues into potential negotiation opportunities.

“It is a great privilege to join McNees and provide my expertise to the firm’s clientele. Given the rapid expansion of the Corporate & Tax Law Group, I am very enthusiastic about coming aboard during such a pivotal moment and grow alongside it,” Abodalo said. “McNees’ philosophy of Clients First closely aligns with my own, and I look forward to continuing that tradition.”
