Central PA Superchef is an epic food battle between fine dining and casual fine dining restaurants within the Capital Region and is held annually at the Hershey Lodge. The event originally slated on 4/8/2020 moved to 8/6/2020 when COVID- 19 began. The event that brings in over 650 attendees throughout Pennsylvania had to pause and rethink their strategy, that’s where Central Pa SuperChef Passport was born.
A statement from the company, “ The SHOW MUST GO ON!!! It is very important for us to fulfill our obligations to the nonprofits who are a part of Central Pa SuperChef. They need the money now more than ever. We selected ten nonprofits to receive $1000 each in honor of our ten year anniversary.
2020 Non-Profits are: Vision Resource Central, Nursing Foundation of PA, HACC Culinary and Pastry Arts club, Market Square Friends, Gemma’s Angels, Central PA Animal Alliance/ HOPE Dogs, Conquering CHD, West Shore Foundation, The Griffith Family Foundation/Sideline Cancer, and World Surgical Foundation
How will it work? Each person who purchases a passport book will receive over $1600 in valuable savings at participating restaurants and local businesses. The passport is good from August 1, 2020, to November 1, 2020. A sIlent auction will go live online from 8/1 to 8/6 at www.CentralPASuperChef.com
