(Harrisburg, Pa.) Global infrastructure and engineering firm Gannett Fleming has appointed Susan Ewing to the role of digital communications and analytics manager. She is responsible for overseeing the firm’s digital assets and manages the technical aspects of the corporate website and microsites, analytics and metrics platforms, and social and web advertising.
“In this new role, Susan will advance and leverage digital software tools and techniques to increase Gannett Fleming’s value, visibility, and return on marketing investment,” said Judy Hricak, CPSM, CiPP, vice president and chief communications officer. “She will lead our digital communications team, promoting innovation in a business landscape being shaped by the Fourth Industrial Revolution.”
Ewing brings more than 10 years of experience in developing best-in-class strategies and tactics aimed at achieving success. Since joining Gannett Fleming in January 2017, she has negotiated the firm’s digital platform contracts, provided oversight of the firm’s social media channels, and created a thorough process for effective digital integration as part of Gannett Fleming’s comprehensive approach to business development. A recognized thought leader, Ewing has led social media presentations for several Gannett Fleming business lines, the Gannett Fleming Toastmasters Club, and the Society for Marketing Professional Services Central Pennsylvania Chapter.
Ewing earned a Bachelor of Science in corporate communications from Central Pennsylvania College. The Central Penn Business Journal named Ewing to its Forty Under 40 list in 2012, and she is a member of the Gannett Fleming Smart Cities Steering Committee, the Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania, and the International Association of Business Communicators. Ewing holds certifications in Google Analytics, Hootsuite Social Marketing, Facebook Blueprint, and is a HubSpot inbound marketing certified professional with an honors distinction.
