Ms. Jacqueline Paige Molnar has joined Skelly and Loy as an engineering intern during her 2019 summer break from Kings College, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with a minor in mathematics and environmental studies. Ms. Molnar will graduate in spring 2020.
Under the direction of experienced engineers and staff members, Ms. Molnar will be involved with a variety of projects, including water and wastewater treatment plant rehabilitation; stormwater management; pipeline and pumping station design and construction; system hydraulic modeling; and preparation of various regulatory agency permit renewal and financial aid applications. Specific tasks Ms. Molnar will assist with are field surveys, soils investigation, and stream geomorphic assessment; erosion and sediment control plans; preparation of NPDES, MS4, and other similar permits; assist in performing hydrologic and hydraulic calculations; and developing grading plans and detail sheets using Computer Aided Design (CAD).
