Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region goes “Over the Edge” in Downtown Harrisburg

Rappelling begins at 9:00 a.m.

Details:
1.) Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region is hosting “Over the Edge,” a new and exciting fundraiser, in the heart of downtown Harrisburg.
Participants will rappel down the front of the 18-story, 220-foot Market Square Plaza Building to raise funds for and awareness of Big Brothers Big
Sister mentoring programs.

2.) Beginning at approximately 11:45 a.m., special guest speakers will address the crowd. Special guests include Harrisburg Mayor Eric Papenfuse, Dauphin County Commissioner George Hartwick, Vibra Healthcare CEO Brad Hollinger, Paul Perini of Belco Community Credit Union, Corporal Adam Reed of the PA State Police, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region CEO Maddie Young. VIP Rappelling by Comm. Hartwick, Harrisburg PD’s Corporal
Joshua Hammer, and Harrisburg Fire Chief Enterline.

3.) Beginning at approximately 12:55 p.m., Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region will kick-off the brand new “Bigs in Blue” partnership with the PA State Police.
