The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC is pleased to share the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority yesterday approved a $346,000 PIDA loan secured by CREDC for Inspired Learning Academy, LLC. The start-up child day care center in Harrisburg will use the funds to purchase real estate, renovate the building, purchase furniture, fixtures and operational equipment. When complete, the day care plans to have space for up to 74 children.
“We see a constant need for child care facilities, and we take it upon ourselves to secure funding for organizations like Inspired Learning Academy that are fulfilling that need,” explains Melissa Stone, VP of Economic Development at the Chamber & CREDC. “We’re proud to help make projects like this possible and finance those investing in our future.”
Inspired Learning Academy, LLC will offer high quality day-time child care and educational opportunities. With an early learning center open weekdays from 6:30am to 6:00pm, the center will provide full-day programs year-round for children ages 6 weeks to Kindergarten. For children attending elementary school, Inspired Learning Academy will provide before and after school care, as well as full-day service through the summer and when school is not in session.

It has given us the opportunity to realize a dream, with the hope of making a lasting difference to children, their families, and the community.”
The day care hopes to open in late September 2019.
