The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC is pleased to share the appointment of Taylour Trostle, Government Relations Director, as President of the Central PA Congressional Internship Association (CPACIA).

“Taylour has been a tremendous asset to the Association’s Executive Committee from day one,” shares Larissa Bailey, immediate past president. “As Vice President, she demonstrated that she possesses the energy, vision, and leadership qualities necessary to head the organization. I am excited for the future of the Association and am confident it will continue to grow under Taylour’s direction.”

Trostle has served on the executive committee at CPACIA since 2017. The CPACIA was created in 1977 and serves as a nonpartisan community involvement initiative to provide financial sponsorship for college students from the 10th Congressional District to work in the offices of the congressperson each summer. This internship gives students a chance to be a part of the political process, with opportunities to attend congressional hearings, interact with constituents, research policy issues and provide support services to staff in district and in D.C.

“CPACIA provides students in our region with valuable opportunities to expand and grow their career interests, gain firsthand knowledge on the inter-workings of public policy opportunities, and serve the region’s Congressional constituents in meaningful ways,” said Trostle. “As president of this organization, I am excited to increase CPACIA’s presence in this region, serve with our dedicated Executive Committee and make a lasting educational impact for the talented students we serve.”

Trostle directs the Chamber & CREDC’s Government Relations activities and strategies through the design, coordination, and operations of programs and events to aid the Chamber & CREDC’s business members and the community at-large. Taylour presents the Chamber & CREDC’s policies and viewpoints to local, state, national government on a continual basis. She also directs several of the Chamber & CREDC’s community partnerships around education, workforce development, and policy.
