Chamber & CREDC Announces Promotion and New Hire

HARRISBURG (Sept. 19, 2017) – The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC recently announced the promotion of Shaun Donovan and the hiring of Tyler Good.

Shaun Donovan
On behalf of the South Central PREP network (Partnerships for Regional Economic Performance), Shaun has been promoted to the position of Director of Regional Workforce Partnerships.  In this position he will coordinate six CareerLink centers throughout the greater eight county PREP region with a focus on better aligning local workforce and employer needs and bridging the gap between workforce and economic development.

He will also continue to oversee the coordination of the South Central PREP network, for which CREDC is the regional administrator.  This program, as developed by Commonwealth’s Department of Community and Economic Development, brings together economic development organizations and service providers in the eight county areas to encourage regional coordination of economic development efforts and service to the business community.

Shaun started as the Economic Development Specialist at CREDC in 2008.

He graduated from York College of Pennsylvania where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics and Finance. Shaun obtained his master’s degree in Leadership and Business Ethics from Duquesne University.

Tyler Good
In Tyler’s new position as Economic Development Specialist, he will be responsible in assisting the organization on real estate projects, demographic research, data compilation and reporting, and website development. Tyler will also support CREDC’s coordination of the Harrisburg Market Keystone Innovation Zone (KIZ).

Before joining the Chamber & CREDC, Tyler worked as a Technical Marketing Specialist at UpBuild, a digital marketing consulting firm. His duties included account management, marketing strategy and data analytics.

He is a 2015 graduate of West Virginia University where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.
