CBS21 Announces New Anchor

Harrisburg, PA, June 2, 2017 – Jasmine Brooks has been hired as the new evening and late news anchor at WHP CBS 21. Jasmine will co-anchor CBS 21 News at 5, 6, 10 and 11 alongside CBS 21’s Robb Hanrahan. Jasmine joins CBS 21 (Harrisburg-Lebanon-Lancaster-York) from WBRE (Wilkes-Barre) where she co-anchored the morning news.
In making the announcement, CBS 21 News Director Bryan Queen said, “Jasmine is not only a strong, smart and hard-working journalist…she is an incredibly warm and friendly person who has the ability to really connect with people. We are very proud to welcome her to our CBS 21 News team.”
After graduating from Bloomsburg University, Jasmine got her start at PBC radio in Pottsville. Soon after she began her career in television at SSPTV in Hazleton. In 2013, Jasmine brought her talents to the WBRE Eyewitness News anchor desk in Wilkes-Barre where she co-anchored the weekday morning news.
