While we are an arts focused school, academics are a priority. This recognition captures our mission of providing students with a rich, rigorous, arts-infused high school program that enables them to succeed in college and their careers.”
CASA consistently scores well above the state average on Pennsylvania’s Keystone Exams. Located in downtown Harrisburg, the arts intensive high school educates 200 students from seven counties and 30 school districts. Major art disciplines include creative writing, dance, film and video, music, theatre, and visual arts.
CASA recently moved into its brand-new academic space in Strawberry Square. The new classrooms, science lab, and administrative offices are helping CASA build on its foundation of providing high quality, standards-based academic and arts education in the Harrisburg region.
Prior to this school year, CASA leased classrooms from Temple University’s Harrisburg campus. The new space not only enhances the STEAM education experience, it provides students with a more streamlined and secure school day.
