Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz Names Four New Principals

Regional premier advisory firm Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz (BSSF) announced that Ryan B. Brown, CPA, CVA; Brian R. Marchuck, CPA; Brian W. Rosenberg, CPA, MBA; and Jeffrey M. Walker, CPA, have been promoted from Senior Manager to Principal effective January 1, 2021.

“This is an outstanding accomplishment for these four and is very well deserved,” said Ken Wolfe, President and Managing Principal at BSSF. “Each has been an integral part of our team, working very hard in their careers and showing leadership both in their professional work and their mentorship of others. Ryan Brown specializes in providing accounting, auditing and tax services for a variety of industries. Ryan is a member of the BSSF Litigation Support Department and the co-chair of BSSF’s Family-Owned and Closely Held Business Committee. Outside the Firm, Ryan serves as Treasurer of Ben and Tim Day; a Finance Committee Member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region; a member and Finance Committee Member of Grace United Methodist Church; and Board Secretary of the Conewago Baseball Association. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Bucknell University, as well as an accounting degree from Pennsylvania State University.

Brian Marchuck is a key member of the Firm’s Government and School District Practice and has over 12 years of experience providing accounting, auditing and tax services for local governments, school districts and nonprofit organizations. Additionally, Brian provides tax services for a variety of clients including corporations, partnerships, estates and individuals. Brian currently serves as a Finance Committee Member of Family Promise of the Capital Region, as well as a Restore Committee Member of Habitat for Humanity. He earned his Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance from Millersville University.

Brian Rosenberg has over 20 years of public accounting experience and serves as Chair of the Firm’s Accounting and Auditing Committee. He specializes in providing accounting and auditing services to companies in a variety of industries, including the distribution, manufacturing, construction, real estate, professional engineering, and nonprofit sectors. Brian additionally provides tax services to his corporate and individual clients. Brian serves as a member of the West Shore YMCA Board of Managers, as well as Chair of St. Theresa Parish’s Finance Council. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Mount Saint Mary’s College and also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Loyola College in Maryland.

Jeff Walker has more than 15 years of experience in public accounting. He specializes in providing audit, review and tax services for nonprofit entities, townships, local government agencies and authorities and school districts, in addition to working with closely held businesses spanning across multiple industries. He is a key member of the Firm’s Nonprofit and Government Practice. Jeff serves as Board Treasurer and an Alumni Committee Member of Leadership Harrisburg Area; Board Member and Volunteer Coach of the Hampden Youth Baseball Association; and a volunteer with the United Way of the Capital Region. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Accounting from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
