Lisa M. Statler, a director with Boyer & Ritter CPAs and Consultants, recently graduated from Leadership Harrisburg’s Executive Leadership Series, which focuses on providing senior decision-makers with valuable insights into the region’s issues and challenges.
During the five-week series, Statler and her 20 fellow class members met with a host of regional influencers.
“I believe it is important to be an active part of the community you work in,’’ Statler said. “This series provided an unparalleled opportunity to meet people who are committed to making our region better and draw inspiration from their example.’’
At Boyer and Ritter, Statler supports the firm’s Small Business And Entrepreneurial Consulting Group and provides tax and accounting services for individuals. Statler, a CPA, earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Messiah College, where she graduated summa cum laude in 1993.
Statler serves as the treasurer of Ten Thousand Villages in Mechanicsburg, which creates opportunities for artisans in developing countries to sell their products. She also serves on the Stewardship Commission of the Slate Hill Mennonite Church in Lower Allen Township and as board treasurer of Warm Introduction and Referral Exchange (WIRE).
