The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC Catalyst Awards are now open for nominations! Please show your appreciation for business associates and clients by nominating them for one of our prestigious regional awards. Nominations must be submitted by September 1st and are being accepted for the following categories:

Business Diversity Champion of the Year
A Business Diversity Champion is one who works in their community or organization to promote the cause of diversity and inclusion; exemplary leadership in ensuring that all individuals are included, represented, and served.
An individual or group whose leadership, activities, and community service make them a Catalyst for our region in making it a better place to live, work, and play.
Corporate Citizen of the Year
Recipients of this award are typically companies who have demonstrated strong values in corporate social responsibility in our region. Criteria include commitment to advancement of society, legal/ethical compliance, community outreach, social involvement in the community, and measured results.
Entrepreneur of the Year (>3 years in business)
An entrepreneur is defined as someone who assumes the financial risk of starting and operating a business venture. Criteria include creativity and vision.
Government Leader of the Year
The Government Leader of the Year award is chosen by the Chamber Executive Committee with recommendation by the Chamber & CREDC’s government relations staff. It is awarded to an outstanding government official or an organization focused on government relations who has contributed to the betterment of our region and has shown exceptional leadership in government over the past year. Each year, during our annual Catalyst Awards event, we honor an individual as the Government Leader of the Year Award Recipient. The Government Leader of the Year award is chosen by the Chamber Executive Committee with recommendation by the Chamber & CREDC’s government relations staff. It is awarded to an outstanding government official or an organization focused on government relations who has contributed to the betterment of our region and has shown exceptional leadership in government over the past year.
Small Business of the Year (<100 employees, <20 million of revenues)
Criteria for Small Business of the Year include: staying power, workplace innovation, commitment to community, and business success.
The above awards represent categories that are very important to our region. The Catalyst Awards Committee is comprised of a large group of community volunteers who engage in an in depth review and due diligence process to award the most deserving entries each year. Please help to bring forth a qualified slate of excellent candidates for each of the categories listed. Consider your business associates, clients and friends.
