Harrisburg’s First Coworking Space Relocating and Tripling Capacity

st@rtup Harrisburg will anchor new live/work development on the 3rd Street corridor in Midtown.

HARRISBURG March 10, 2016 — Harrisburg’s first coworking space, st@rtup, will relocate a few blocks away from its current 1519 N3rd Street home to the former Moose Lodge also previously used as the Ronald Brown Charter School at 922 N3rd Street.

Anchoring the first floor of the historic city building, st@rtup will offer a range of workspaces from shared desks to private offices available to members on a daily or monthly basis. The opening is expected to be this summer.

As a mixed-use development project by WCI Partners, this will be Harrisburg’s first live/work building. Not only will membership be open to the public, but residents of the upscale apartments on the upper floors can also take advantage of incentives that will be offered to them.

“This move will allow us to better serve the city’s growing creative class and independent workforce,” says st@rtup Co-Founder Adam Porter. “Harrisburg’s high quality of life and easy access to major markets make it a great place for anyone with an idea and the energy to execute it.”

“We’re delighted to have st@rtup as the anchor commercial tenant,” added Dave Butcher, President of WCI Partners, LP the developer of the project. “Their presence will dramatically enhance the vibrancy of our project and the entire neighborhood.”

There are a variety of all-inclusive membership options available and all members will have access to free parking in the adjacent lot. In anticipation of the opening, st@rtup is accepting new members. Tours will be available by appointment shortly following completion of construction.
