The Harrisburg Regional Chamber has named attorney Sarah Yerger to its board of directors, effective Jan. 1.
The chamber is one of the preeminent business organizations in central Pennsylvania, helping guide companies in Cumberland, Dauphin and Perry counties.
“The Harrisburg Regional Chamber is one of the most important organizations for businesses in the Capital area,” Yerger said. “Hundreds of businesses count on its collective wisdom to help grow their success and count on them to bolster the overall business climate of the region. It’s an honor to be able to help guide the future of this organization.”
In addition to her new position at the chamber, Yerger is an immediate past member of the board of directors at the Human Resource Professionals of Central Pennsylvania and is a member of the Widener Law Commonwealth Advisory Board.
Yerger’s primary practice is in the Barley Snyder Employment and Labor Law practice groups. In 2021, Best Lawyers named her “Lawyer of the Year” in the Harrisburg area for health care law. She’s also recognized as a “Best Lawyer” in commercial litigation, labor law – management and employment law – management. Pennsylvania “Super Lawyers” have included her on its list from 2014-2020.
