Andrew Reid joins the Harrisburg Regional Chamber/CREDC as Director of Regional Economic Strategy through December 31 to guide the completion and implementation of the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for South Central Pennsylvania and foster regional collaboration amongst the nine counties as the region advances its economic objectives and leverages its partnerships.
Andrew brings over 30 years of economic development experience to this critical role, including having served as the Federal Economic Development Representative (EDR) for Pennsylvania and New York for the Economic Development Administration (EDA), a position that included working on all federal ED investments across the Commonwealth. Andrew also serves as an Associate Professor at Temple University teaching Community and Economic Development and teaches at the National Community Development Institute at the University of Delaware’s Biden School of Public Policy. He holds a CAGS in Urban Justice and Sustainability from Tufts University and an MBA from Golden Gate University.
Having been involved in prior iterations of the CEDS at the federal level, Andrew looks forward to helping make the new CEDS a tool that truly builds regional partnerships and accelerates growth in South Central Pennsylvania while at Harrisburg Regional Chamber/CREDC.
