HARRISBURG, PA – Allegra Marketing Print Mail recently awarded $15,000 in marketing and print services to thirteen area nonprofit groups, including The Foundation for Enhancing Communities, in fulfillment of the promise of the Allegra Annual FootPRINT Fund®.

According to Andy Orons, the company’s owner, the program was created to provide a means of helping local non-profit organizations in areas that are frequently not addressed by other funding sources. Each applicant explained how the funds would be used to further their organization goals including service expansion, program enhancement or maximization of existing resources.

“Providing community support is one of our goals at Allegra,’’ Orons said, adding, “We were truly impressed with the submissions from so many deserving applicants.” Each winner was eligible to receive up to $2500 credit to be used for Allegra Marketing Print Mail services. “This program is a way for us to make a difference in our community,” said Orons. “We feel that it is extremely important to reach out to local organizations that are trying to leave their ‘footprints’ in our community.”

Other winners included: Carson Long Military Academy; Community Action Association of Pennsylvania; Girl Scouts in the Heart of PA; Kidney Foundation of Central Pennsylvania; PA Veterinary Foundation; Pennsylvania Fly Fishing Museum; Shalom House; Summit Search and Rescue; Susquehanna Township EMS; The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and The Salvation Army Harrisburg Capital City Region.
