Alexander Building Construction Co. begins construction of OR Suite and Surgical Services Suite expansion project at Williamsport Regional Medical Center

Harrisburg, PA, February 12, 2015 . . . Alexander Building Construction Co., part of The Butz Family of Companies, has begun construction of an expansion to the Operating Room Suite and Surgical Services Suite at Susquehanna Health’s Williamsport Regional Medical Center in Williamsport, PA. Features of the 29,100-square-foot expansion project include:
- One Cardiac and Two General Operating Rooms
- Two EP Labs and Two Interventional Cardiology Labs
- 32-position Pre-Operative, Recovery and Postoperative Unit
- Physician and Staff Lounge
- On-Call Room
“We are very pleased to have been selected as the construction manager for this important project for Susquehanna Health.” said Rick Seitz, President of Alexander Building Construction Co. “We have managed similar projects in operating hospitals and we will complete this project while the hospital’s operations and patient services continue uninterrupted during construction.”
Construction started in late December and will completed be in October 2015.
