Eric Fischer

Business Finance Officer
Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDCCurrent Focus: As Business Finance Officer, Mr. Fischer helps in providing state and federal low interest loan programs to eligible businesses that are making a strong economic or community development impact in Cumberland, Dauphin and Perry counties.  He assists in underwriting each project, assessing its financial qualifications and eligibility for each program.  He partners with the financial institutions in the region to supply a portion of project costs at lower interest rates, giving borrowers the capacity and potential to make a larger impact on our community.

Professional Background: Prior to joining the Harrisburg Regional Chamber and CREDC, Eric worked at Metro Bank for 6 years, holding various positions such as Commercial Lender, Asset Recovery Specialist, and Store Manager.  Prior to Metro Bank, he worked for Tyco Electronics for 10 years working for 5 years as a Materials Engineer and 5 years as an Account Manager focused on sales into networking and telecommunication router and switch designers.

Education:  Eric attended Penn State University, where he earned a B.S. in Metals Science and Engineering, and St. Mary's College of California, where he earned an MBA focused on finance.
