Did you ever think someday you might want to start your own business?

HARRISBURG (October 23, 2008)  - The Murata Business Center will be holding a seminar focused on individuals who are thinking of taking the leap of starting their own business.  Dream It. Do It. will be held on Wednesday, October 29th, 5:00pm - 7:00pm at Troeg's Brewing Company, 800 Paxton Street, Harrisburg.  Panelists will include Chris Trogner, an owner of Troeg's Brewing Company; Wendell Hoover, partner of Green Street Properties, LP and Anne Aufiero, President of Adability, Inc. 

Panelists will cover the following:

  • How they came up with the idea for starting their own business
  • What went into making the decision to "take the leap"
  • What they wish they knew then that they know now

 Those encouraged to attend are individuals thinking of starting their own business or those that possess just a glimmer of an idea.  Attendees also have the opportunity to ask questions to the entrepreneurs on the panel.  The cost is $20 at the door or $15 in advance. The Murata Business Center is located in the Keystone Innovation Zone and the Technology Corridor Enterprise Zone, two state programs that may provide assistance in the form of tax credits, assistance seeking investment or financing help at later stages of business development. 

The Murata Business Center is owned and operated by the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & Capital Region Economic Development Corporation (CREDC).The Murata Business Center provides entrepreneurs with support services.
