Larissa Bailey Named Government Relations Manager For The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & (CREDC)
HARRISBURG (March 29, 2011) - The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC is pleased to announce the hiring of Larissa Bailey as Government Relations Manager. In her position, she will manage the activities of Government Relations through the design, coordination, and operations of programs and events to aid the Chamber & CREDC's business members and the community at large. Bailey is responsible to present the Chamber's policies and viewpoints to local, state, national governmental units and agencies on a continual basis. Her duties also include managing the Harrisburg Regional Chamber Political Action Committee (HRC-PAC).
Larissa graduated from Messiah College in December 2010. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics with a concentration in International Relations.
Prior to joining the Harrisburg Regional Chamber and CREDC family, Larissa completed two major internships while enrolled at Messiah College. She had the opportunity to study abroad in London, England during the spring of 2010. While there, she interned for Justine Greening, Member of Parliament, focusing largely on constituent services and various London-based research initiatives. The summer prior to her semester abroad, Larissa was an intern in the Legislative Office of the Pennsylvania Department of Aging. The experience allowed her to gain insight as well as play an active role in the legislative process from a state agency perspective.
