Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC Announces Elections of 2011 Board Officers

Terry Lehman Named 2011 Harrisburg Regional Chamber Board Chair and ary Stouffer Named 2011 CREDC Board Chair

HARRISBURG (January 10, 2011) - The Harrisburg Regional Chamber Board of Directors and the Capital Region Economic Development Corporation (CREDC) Board of Directors announced their 2011 Board Chairs.  Terry Lehman will serve as Chair, Harrisburg Regional Chamber Board of Directors and Gary Stouffer will serve as Chair, CREDC Board of Directors for 2011.

Terry Lehman is a retired partner of ParenteBeard LLC and continues to do consulting work.  He served as the Harrisburg Office Managing Partner from 1997 to June 2009 and chaired the firm's Financial Institution Services Group, Insurance Group and SEC practice group during his tenure.  He has 29 years of experience in accounting and private industry, including 12 years with Ernst & Young.  He received a BSBA in Accounting from Shippensburg University and is a licensed certified public accountant in Pennsylvania.  Lehman is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a PNC Bank, Central Region - Advisory Board Member, Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts - Secretary, Tres Bonne Annee -Treasurer and Harrisburg Academy former Board Member and Treasurer.  He is also a highly regarded local wine expert who writes an occasional column for The Patriot-News.

Gary Stouffer serves as a Regional Vice President at RETTEW Associates, Inc., an Engineering News-Record top 500 design firm. As a principal of the firm, he has more than 40 years of experience in surveying and engineering, and has provided guidance and oversight on a wide of range of projects, including telecommunications, natural gas exploration and production, highway design and construction, land development, and civil/municipal engineering.  He has been with RETTEW since 1987.   He is President of the erry County Economic Development Authority and Vice Chairman of the Board for the Perry County Economic Development Corporation. A professional land surveyor, he has served as adjunct professor for the surveying and civil drafting program at Harrisburg Area

Community College (HACC).   Stouffer is a Vietnam War veteran serving with the United States Navy Seabees.
