CREDC Finances Goodall Pools, Inc. in Camp Hill

HARRISBURG, PA (November 17, 2010) - The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC (HRC/CREDC) announced today that it provided $373,488 in financing through the Federal SBA 504 loan program to help Goodall Pools acquire a property located at 3607 Hartzdale Drive, Camp Hill, Cumberland County.

Goodall Pools & Spas was founded in 1962.  Since that time their lines of business and types of services have grown to make them one of today's leading suppliers of custom swimming pools and spas in Central Pennsylvania.   This second generation family business, has received numerous awards over the years for their pool and spa projects, such as the Gold Award by the International Awards of Excellence program.

Goodall Pools, Inc. is owned by Robert L. Goodall Jr.  The SBA 504 loan along with financing from Graystone Bank enabled Mr. Goodall to expand his business by acquiring a new 17,000 square foot facility.  This location will house corporate headquarters, the warehouse distribution center, and operational headquarters for the Service and Construction divisions.  The new facility will also support the four pool and spa retail locations at Simpson Ferry Road in Camp Hill, Jonestown Road in Harrisburg, Quentin Road in Lebanon, and Plaza Boulevard in Lancaster.  Finally, this project will enhance Goodall's ability to provide state of the art service for their customers.  The project had a total economic impact of $981,024 and will retain 42 jobs and create two.
