Business Women’s Forum
HARRISBURG (March 24, 2010) --The Greater Carlisle Area Chamber of Commerce, Harrisburg Regional Chamber and the West Shore Chamber of Commerce have announced the 16th annual Business Women's Forum to be held on Monday, April 12th, 2010. The event will take place at the Radisson Penn Harris Hotel & Convention Center from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. In addition to the three hosting Chambers, this event is supported by Gettysburg Adams Area, Mechanicsburg, Shippensburg Area, and York County Chambers of Commerce.
This one-day annual event combines inspirational speakers, business exhibits and breakout sessions on professional topics such as effective communication, time management, mentoring, women in politics and leadership. It will not only assist women in developing their professional skills and business contacts, but will also promote personal growth through tremendous networking opportunities.
The Business Women's Forum Steering Committee is proud to announce Colette Carlson as the keynote luncheon speaker for the event. Colette Carlson, M.A., has delivered inspirational programs within North America on communication, balance, sales and negotiation and to audiences as far away as Cape Town, South Africa. Whether she's opening for Suze Orman in a sold-out crowd of 3500 women or sharing strategies in house at Fortune 100 companies to include Microsoft, Boeing, PepsiCo, Cisco and ExxonMobil, Colette brings her cutting-edge content, charismatic delivery and incredible sense of humor to every program to help others increase their power, influence and effectiveness in both their professional and personal lives.
