Harrisburg Regional Chamber & Capital Region Economic Development Corporation (CREDC) Holds Annual Dinner
Sandi Loy Bell and Kelly Logan honored for their service; Keith Matheny, keynote speaker, teaches attendees how to unleash the power of their minds
HARRISBURG (March 9, 2010) - Nearly 400 members of the regional business community were in attendance, last evening, at the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC (HRC/CREDC) Annual Dinner, featuring a keynote address from Keith Matheny, motivational speaker and mentalist. The program's agenda included a year in review summary and the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC boards of directors recognition of outgoing chairs.
The event recognized Sandi Loy Bell, 2009 Chair of the Harrisburg Regional Chamber Board of Directors and Kelly Logan, 2009 Chair of CREDC for their service guiding the organization through the year.
"I was very proud of what the Harrisburg Regional Chamber and CREDC accomplished this past year. They were able to maintain both the quality and quantity of events, educational seminars, and networking opportunities for our members throughout the year in spite of the economic downturn," stated Loy Bell. "All of these events were very well-attended which speaks to the value and the vital role that the Chamber plays in making our region a better place to live, to work, and to play."
Logan added, "Thanks to the support of businesses across the region, members of CREDC and the Harrisburg Regional Chamber and the hard work of staff, CREDC had an outstanding year. From providing business financing, to environmental remediation projects, to supplying entrepreneurial assistance, CREDC demonstrated results in promoting and performing economic development activities throughout the region."
