Amanda Schildt Named Business Marketing Specialist for the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & capital Region Economic Development Corporation
AMANDA SCHILDT NAMED BUSINESS MARKETING SPECIALIST FOR THE HARRISBURG REGIONAL CHAMBER & CAPITAL REGION ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (HRC/CREDC)
HARRISBURG (March 18, 2009) - The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC is pleased to announce the hiring of Amanda Schildt as Business Marketing Specialist. In her position, she will be responsible for creating and designing organizational collateral materials and advertisements, along with assisting in the development of marketing campaigns. She will also assist in the creation and dissemination of media advisories and news releases.
Prior to accepting her position at the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC, Schildt worked for BAE Systems as part of the Communications Team where her duties consisted of writing articles for the company newsletter, creating press releases and coordinating internal and external communications efforts.
While completing her undergraduate degree, she completed numerous internships at BAE Systems as a communications intern and also spent a summer interning with Fleishman-Hillard Public Relations in Washington, D.C. While at Fleishman-Hillard, she was a member of the Social Impact Marketing Team and assisted with national campaigns for the Office of National Drug Control Policy and YWCA.
Schildt is a graduate of Duquesne University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrated Marketing Communications with a double minor in Psychology and Broadcast Journalism.
