Business Diversity Reception To Be Held
Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC and Dauphin County Host Reception
HARRISBURG (June 3, 2008) – The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC (HRC/CREDC) and Dauphin County will host a business diversity reception, Wednesday, June 11, 5:30pm at the National Civil War Museum. The event will be held in conjunction with the African American Chamber of Commerce of Central Pennsylvania, the Central PA Gay and Lesbian Chamber, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Central PA, the Governor’s Advisory Commission on African American Affairs, the Governor’s Advisory Commission on Asian American Affairs, and the Governor’s Advisory Commission on Latino Affairs.
Event Purpose : Create networking opportunities and a forum where people from various cultures and backgrounds can come together to encourage business relationships. This is an effort as part of the HRC/CREDC’s Business Diversity Works initiative.
Amma Johnson, Business Diversity Director stated, “There really is diversity among the business community in our region. It’s our goal to provide more opportunities like this where we can come together, shake hands, and form new relationships.”
The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC serves as a catalyst for promoting growth and quality of life in Cumberland, Dauphin and Perry Counties by providing a unique blend of business, community and economic development and advocacy services under one roof to boost our economic vitality and livability as a region. HRC/CREDC has been accredited with four stars from the United States Chamber of Commerce.
