Murata Business Center Holds Business Boot Camp
HARRISBURG (March 1, 2007 ) -- The Murata Business Center, the region’s leading business incubator, will be holding Business Boot Camp. Business Boot Camp is targeted at individuals who always wanted to start a business and are in need of the basic information to do so. It is a spin-off of First Mondays, a cooperative initiative between the Murata Business Center and Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) offering an informal setting where entrepreneurs can come to gain tangible, practical advice from experienced staff on the "ins and outs" of starting their own business. The First Monday Program is held on the first Monday of every month from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., at the Murata Business Center , 453 Lincoln St. , Carlisle, and HACC's Business Start-up Center, Three Penn Center , 349 Wiconisco St., Suite 237, Harrisburg.Basic Training at Business Boot Camp includes 4 marketing push ups, 3 miles of information of what not to do, 2 hours of help to pull you up and 1 drill sergeant to coach you through the process. Below are the dates and locations of the sessions. Each session is held from 9am-11am.

The Murata Business Center is located in the Keystone Innovation Zone and the Technology Corridor Enterprise Zone, two state programs that may provide assistance in the form of tax credits, assistance seeking investment or financing help at later stages of business development.
The Murata Business Center is owned and operated by the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & Capital Region Economic Development Corporation (CREDC).The Murata Business Center provides entrepreneurs with support services. While in the incubator, a firm receives an array of training, mentoring and counseling opportunities, and shares a number of administrative services and personnel.
