Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC Hold Chamber Business Women (CBW) Event

HARRISBURG ( SEPTEMBER 13, 2007 ) - Yesterday, at FELICITA Garden Resort & Spa, nearly 150 people attended the Chamber Business Women event, "Women - Asking vs. Telling". Panelists participating were Juanita Mort - Brenner Cadillac, Patti Husic - Centric Bank and Jenn Groff - Penn State Children's Miracle Network. The panel discussion was facilitated by Anna Marie Sossong - Skarlotos & Zonarich, Attorneys-At-Law.

"I am thrilled to see the attendee numbers continue to increase at every event," stated Amber Lovette, co-chair of the CBW. "From the kick-off celebration in February to our inaugural event in June, to today's event, the CBW (Chamber Business Women) continues to grow and promote the advancement and education of women at all levels and vocations in business.  It is a powerful tool that Chamber members need to make a priority."

The mission of the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC's Chamber Business Women (CBW) is t o promote progression and advancement of businesswomen through education and sharing of ideas and experiences. The only requirement for membership to the CBW is to be a member, in good standing, with the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC. Members are encouraged to participate on one of the several committees the CBW offers - Programming/Events, Membership, Communication and Community Relations. For more information regarding committees, please contact the Chamber & CREDC at 717.232.4099. Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC prospective members can attend events, but at the non-member rate. Prospective members can not serve on CBW committees.
