Information Systems Manager-Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC
Facilities Manager- Murata Business Center

Current Focus: Alex serves as the IT Manager for the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC since 1999. He also holds the title of Facilities Manager for the Murata Business Center.

Professional Background: Alex began his professional career as a pattern engineer for the Kinney Shoe Corporation in 1977. His primary responsibility was to design and develop new styles of footwear, and provide technical support for domestic and overseas production facilities. In 1997 Kinney closed its stores.  Alex refocused his talents into the IT field where he currently provides broad based IT support for the HRC and CREDC staff, as well as maintains the HRC /CREDC and Murata Business Center websites. 

Additionally, Alex serves as an assistant softball and pitching coach for Messiah College.  In his spare time, Alex owns and operates "Fastball Farm", offering pitching lessons to many area athletes. Alex is  also very involved in his community church and is frequently called upon to speak at other area churches.

Education: Alex attended Computer Learning Network, earning a certificate degree in Microsystems Technology.  Alex  was awarded the Arthur McMeans Leadership Award in 1999.
